Evangelist Wanda Davis was born in Mount Dora of the state of Florida, but raised in Tampa. She is the second of four children born to Mr. Johnny Lee and Mrs. Henrietta Buster. She graduated in 1985 from Tampa Bay Tech Vocational High School. After completing high school, Evangelist Davis joined the United States Navy where she served her country for 51/2 years onboard the Naval Submarine Tender, USS McKee, based out of San Diego, Ca.
While onboard the USS McKee, Evangelist Davis met and fell in love with the man of her dreams, Petty Officer Third Class Dexter Davis, whom she married in June 1989. After the Persian Gulf War in 1991, she departed from the U.S. Navy with an Honorable Discharge, pursuing a career in the Retail Industry, where she have faithfully served for over 16 years, while completing several Business and Leadership courses at San Diego State University of San Diego, California.
Evangelist Davis was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues according to Acts 2:38 on October 3, 1988, while faithfully attending Christ Temple Apostolic Church, known as, The Miracle on 54th Street, where she served for 8 years..
For more than 20 years moving from coast to coast with her husband serving their country in the U. S. Navy, Evangelist Davis had the pleasure of serving in various ministries around the globe, teaching and training under different leaderships throughout the body of Christ. Some of these ministries includes: Evangelism/Outreach Team, Praise Team, Sunday School, Usher Board, Youth Ministry, Praise/Dance Ministry, Sanctuary Choir, and Women Ministry Vice President. In March 2007 she was key to birthing a Praise/Dance Ministry at Rose of Sharon Apostolic Church in Middletown, Maryland under the leadership of Dr. James E. Graham, Pastor.
Evangelist Wanda Davis has a love for God and God’s people with passion extending to the youths aging from 6-25 years of age. Her calling is to unite young boys and girls into a common fellowship for support, encouragement, and personal growth.
During her time at Rose of Sharon Apostolic Church, she provided programs of excellence that has educated and inspired young people to a higher degree of spiritual, intellectual, and social development; increasing their confidence and experience through praise expressions, developing talents and skills for the use of the ministry.
Since being directed by God to move to North Texas and partner with Life Changers Worship Center (LCWC), God is using Evangelist Davis in Praise and Worship and many other capacities. To God be all the Glory for the things he has done.
